Kinusaiga
Ladies' Evening: Kinusaiga
Kinusaiga again — this time under open skies with raclette and great conversation.
This Friday we're inviting you back for another Kinusaiga evening — and this time we're sitting outside. Over refreshments, snacks and a cosy raclette, we'll work together on our colourful textile pictures. Japanese craft art meets summer evening on Sydals.
Kinusaiga is a fascinating Japanese technique where colourful fabric scraps are pressed into grooves to create vivid pictures — no needle or thread needed. Those who joined last time know the ropes. Newcomers will find their feet quickly. Everyone takes a finished work of art home at the end of the evening.
We're happy if you bring your own fabric scraps, remnants or old clothes — the more colourful and varied, the more beautiful!
Only a few spots remain. Get in touch if you'd like to join us.
A summer evening outdoors — creativity, community and good food.
